Having Fun

These small paintings each displays a different painting technique: Venetian glazing using pure, transparent hues; painting with mainly earthy brown washes; alla prima painting using broken colour; textural painting using a palette knife; decalcomania where one painted image is transferred onto another surface by pressing the two surfaces together.

All the paintings are done on wood (the first in oil, the fourth in acrylics, the rest in mixed media) and measure 300 x 400 mm.
