My Grand Tour

With these twelve paintings I pay homage to some admired Old Masters by placing human figures and portraits painted by them in modern architectural spaces. The settings range from Buenos Aires in Argentina to Kyoto in Japan to Cappadocia in Turkey to Houtbaai on the Cape Peninsula.

My Grand Tour, my first solo exhibition, showed at The Cape Gallery, Cape Town, from 28 October to 24 November 2018 – https://capegallery.co.za
